Our Simply Beautiful Life

I have always wanted to start a blog and never got around to doing it! So I decided I want to use my blog as a journal to document my life! My life with Caden, Shelby, and Sadie has been Simply Beautiful and I can't wait to share it with you guys! I've decided to share with you guys how Caden and I met and our story up until now!

Our Story

I worked with Jessica, Cadens cousin, at a group home for kids with autism. At the time Caden and I didn't know who each other were. Caden was dating someone else, and I was dating around. I was so done with dating and feeling like all guys were jerks. So i remember praying that night, asking our heavenly father to help me find the person I was supposed to be with. That next day I went over to Jessica's house, with Cafe Rio, to vent to her about boys. After we ate and talked I noticed a picture on her wall, that had been there forever, of her in junior high school. She was with her two cousins. I pointed to one of the boys and asked her who he was, and that he was very attractive. She told me that he was her cousin, Caden. She said I was in luck, and that him and his girlfriend had just broken up. So she called him and told him she had a friend she wanted to set him up with. Later that week Caden added me on facebook and we started to message each other. Soon we had each others phone numbers and talked on the phone for hours on end. We talked to each other for about a month before we finally got around to meeting each other. 
Our first date was the day after April Fools. It's easy to remember because my friend Arelie and I made Jessica some Oreo cookies with toothpaste in them for April Fools. Caden got to Jessicas the night before and ate one of them! For our first date we went on a double date with Teddy and Jessica, and a few other friends.I remember being so nervous to finally meet Caden, but we had so much fun!

After that we continued to talk and date long distantly. He lived in Vernal at the time and I lived in Murray. We would talk all week and spend the weekend at each others parents house, switching off every week. In August, Caden moved to Logan for school. That made our distance a little closer. We dated long distantly for about a year and a half. We built such a strong relationship because it was based on communication. Caden moved back home in January. February 16th he asked me to marry him.  We set a date for June 22, 2012. We were married and sealed in the Mount Timpanogos Temple.

Caden and I had such a fun loving relationship. We were always busy making memories. We both decided we wanted to wait to have kids for a little bit so we could enjoy the time together.
In February 2014 we were surprised we were pregnant! We were so excited to start that stage of life together. We had our baby girl, Shelby, in September. It was so fun to become a mom and to watch Caden with Shelby. When Shelby was only 6 months old we found out I was pregnant again! It was such a surprise. I was shocked! But we were happy we were going to add another baby girl to our family. In October Sadie was born. We had doubled our family in about a years time!

I wouldn't change anything about our life. We have our crazy moments but most of them are Simply Beautiful.
